FIMS

Ever have those moments when you say something and a split-second later you wanna smack yourself? Do you find yourself blushing often when you make a blunder in public? Well, you may suffer from FIMS, also known as OMIF Syndrome.

FIMS stand for Foot-in-mouth Syndrome. (OMIF = Open-Mouth-Insert-Foot.)

Common symptoms include, but are not limited to: red face, stammering, feeling like a complete idiot, bruising from kicking oneself, etc.

If you or a loved one have experienced any of these, or other symptoms that may be related to FIMS or OMIF Syndrome, be sure to seek help from a professional immediately.

This is a public service announcement.
