I can say with about 96% certainty that my first favorite live-action show was Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. What can I say? It was epic when I was a kid.So, what is it that still makes me love the show? I'm not sure. Perhaps it's the mythical Greek setting (though, admittedly, it's not very accurate) or the witty banter. Or maybe, it's the lovable cast of characters throughout the series, including Hercules himself.
Maybe, there are just some shows I will never stop loving.More on this topic another time, probably, though it could be quite some time in the future. Right now, I'm a little busy getting reacquainted with an old love: HERCULES! (Okay, technically, I was in love with Iolaus, but I love the show itself, too...)

This is the story of a time long ago – a time of myth and legend. When the ancient gods were petty and cruel, and they plagued mankind with suffering. Only one man dared to challenge their power: Hercules. Hercules possessed a strength the world had never seen – a strength surpassed only by the power of his heart. He journeyed the Earth, battling the minions of his wicked stepmother, Hera, the all-powerful queen of the gods. But wherever there was evil, wherever an innocent would suffer, there would be Hercules.
